Aina Fiol Veny

General Health Psychologist
Collegiate Nº B-02615

I graduated in psychology in 2011. During that time, I was doing an internship at the Spanish Association Against Cancer, conducting group workshops (sexuality, smoking …) and individual therapy. When I finished my degree, I decided to travel around the world, since I have always been passionate about traveling and meeting people from different cultures. Besides, I think it is one of the best ways to open my mind and to understand people better.

As I had always been interested in knowing in depth how the human mind works, after that stage I did a master’s degree in neurosciences, which allowed me to gain experience in different fields, such as neuropediatrics. At the same time, I was doing my master’s degree, I started my research career. My doctoral thesis is focused on risk factors that can lead to the development of anxiety and depression problems. During this project, which has lasted 5 years, I have been working directly with emotional problems. In addition, I have been teaching in the Master of General Health Psychology and in the Psychology degree at the University of the Balearic Islands.

I am happy to be able to work in what I like the most and to help people who need it the most. For this reason, I keep learning and professionally training myself continuously, to be able to help you when you need it.
